Your AvestAI setup fee covers hardware and configuration. Your AI assistant also requires API access to language models (the "brain" behind the responses). You have two options:

Option A: Pay-Per-Use API Keys (Recommended)

  • Purchase API credits directly from AI providers
  • Only pay for what you use
  • Typical usage ranges:
    • Light use (occasional questions, daily summaries): $20-50/month
    • Moderate use (regular assistance, email management): $50-100/month
    • Heavy use (constant automation, complex tasks): $100-200/month
    • Business/Power use (intensive operations, multiple projects): $200+/month
  • No usage limits or restrictions
  • We recommend Anthropic Claude for quality and reliability

Option B: Monthly Subscriptions (Limited)

  • Use existing ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, etc.
  • May hit usage caps or face restrictions
  • Some providers restrict automation use
